TOPCOR Services has extensive experience and is highly skilled at installing different Machinery Grout products. These products serve to prolong the life of equipment by protecting against vibration and corrosive agents. TOPCOR installs Machinery Grout materials that serve as a filler between the bottom of the machine base and the top of the concrete foundation or metal equipment skid. Typical machinery grouts are flowable and installed in a variety of thicknesses to support the equipment base at a precise elevation. The two basic types of Machinery Grout that TOPCOR installs are Epoxy and Non Shrink Cementitous Grout.

Non Shrink Cementitious Grouts, also known as inorganic grouts, are machinery grouts used in a broad range of industrial applications. Sometimes referred to as sand and cement grouts, which are mixed with water, will be stronger and more dense than the underlying concrete foundation. TOPCOR typically installs machinery grouts by either form and pour or by dry packing. Being less expensive, by perhaps 30% to 50% of what an epoxy based epoxy grout costs, cementitious grouts are used quite broadly where operating conditions permit.

Epoxy Grouts, also known as organic grouts, are the second general class of machinery grouts. They are called this due to a polymer binder, which is an organic substitute for the cement binder in a cementitious grout. Epoxy grouts often contain the same inorganic fillers found in pure inorganic cement grout formulas. These fillers usually consist of sand, silica flour, and quartz.

Typical areas TOPCOR installs Grouts:
